73 SERIES PISTOL GRIP KEYS USED 1973-1977
The 73 Pistol Grip Key Series came out in 1973 and were used mostly in control boxes that had a separate choke switch from the ignition(not push to choke). These were made/stamped Pollak. The ignition switch these were used in could be identified by its white nylon flange where the key was inserted. The key number was stamped into this flange. These had a number range from 1-35.

 

 

BMW's new 5-series next for hybrid power

The new BMW 5-series being launched this winter is likely to be the next BMW to receive the ActiveHybrid system pioneered on the petrol-electric 7-series and X6 models. BMW engineers admit they can't rely on sales of the pricey hybrid 7-series and X6 to justify the development costs, even though these range-topping halo hybrids were jointly developed with Daimler and GM. Senior sources have indicated that the new 2010 5-series will be the next BMW to get an ActiveHybrid model.

The world's first James Bond Museum in the world opens its doors this weekend [ad#ad-1] I find it hard to believe, with the fascination we have with all things Bond, that it has taken more than 50 years to open a museum dedicated to James Bond. But apparently, there is not a single one in the world – until now. Opening its doors tomorrow (5/4/09) in Keswick, in the heart of the Lake District, is the first museum in the world dedicated to James Bond.
