Toyota recalls Prius models for steering fix

Wed, 01 Jun 2011

Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 106,000 units of its first-generation Prius hybrid vehicle to fix a power steering problem that can make the car difficult to turn. About 52,000 of the cars were sold in the United States and 48,000 in Japan, Toyota said.

Subaru BRZ (2012) - more on FT-86's shy sister

Mon, 26 Sep 2011

Since the joint venture between Toyota and Subaru was announced in 2009, we've seen four concept cars from Toyota of its version, the FT-86/Scion FR-S. But barring some unfortunate-looking Impreza based engineering mules, we've yet to see the Subaru edition. Renault Ondelios concept (2008): first photos and video

Wed, 10 Sep 2008

By Nick Eaton First Official Pictures 10 September 2008 15:30 The Ondelios has been designed to provide a serene travelling experience, says Renault. The body has been designed to look like a singular smooth shape, so the glass appears to merge seamlessly with the body panels. Renault also claims the Ondelios's shape enhances the car’s other raison-d’etre: streamlined efficiency (and hence eco-friendliness). Those huge 23-inch aluminium alloys are designed to prevent turbulence and the car has been engineered to be a slippery as possible, boasting a drag coefficient of 0.29Cd.
