These items came along with an engine (4 cyl. 3.0L) I bought and used several years ago, the engine was in good condition as are most of these items.  What you see is what you get and this is not a complete unit and needs shims, nuts, bolts, the top shift cover mechanism, and possibly other misc. items.  There is no vertical shaft, it was broken.  Gears and dog clutch are good with normal wear. Prop shaft appears good and I could not detect any off-center (bent) condition.  The pinion gear has some rust on it but should be OK if cleaned up.  There are some minor surface rust spots on reverse gear and a thrust bearing but should not be an issue.  The lower gear housing needs cleaned up but is in useable condition with the skag in good condition.  The prop. needs refurbished but could be used as an emergency spare.  The Whale tail is not from this unit and fit an early (70's) Mercruiser unit.    I will pay UPS ground shipping from PA to surrounding states only, and only after payment has been received into my PayPal account.

Lincoln Quicksilver Ghia concept heads to auction

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

Next week at the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee, Fla., bidders will get a chance to take home something truly unique, a Lincoln Quicksilver concept car created by Carrozzeria Ghia in 1983. This radical concept was created at a time when Ghia was a division of the Ford Motor Company. The concept itself debuted in one place where the Lincoln brand was, ahem, somewhat underappreciated: the Geneva Auto Show.

Weineck Cobra 780 at RM Auctions in Paris

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

The phrase “fastest Cobra ever made” has been thrown around too often for our taste over the last…50 or so years. But we're going to say it now, possibly for the last time: How does 1,100 hp sound? Weineck, a Germany-based tuning company, dropped a 12.9-liter -- 780-cubic-inch -- V8 in the famous body, for a run of 15 cars, all of which sold out.
