Ferrari's new Enzo (2013) chassis details revealed
Mon, 01 Oct 2012Ferrari has continued its teasing build up towards the reveal of its hybrid flagship supercar by showing off the car's advanced carbon tub chassis. The chassis, which employs four different types of carbonfibre, will be the central component of the V12 model, which will employ an F1-style KERS system and over 800bhp with which to challenge the McLaren P1. Are Bugatti plotting a Final Edition ‘Super’ Veyron?

The rumours that the Bugatti Veyron would, at some point, get more than its original 100bhp or so have been around seen the Veyron first launched. Eventually, Bugatti delivered and we got the Veyron Super Sport – with 1200bhp – back in 2010 which was, inevitably, followed by the convertible version in the guise of the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse sporting 1200bhp and a hole to let the sky in.
Pilkington Vehicle Design Awards 2011
Mon, 11 Jul 2011One student designer has made history by winning the prizes for Best Overall Design and Best Use of Glazing at the 2011 Pilkington Vehicle Design Awards. For the first time in the awards' 24-year history, the prizes were awarded to Adam Phillips, a postgraduate of the vehicle design course at the Royal College of Art (RCA). Phillips, who previously worked as a toy designer for Lego before studying at the RCA, scooped the awards with a concept on the modern family car that uses iPad-style technology called ‘Family Dynamic'.
