Heuliez concept collection up for auction

A collection of coachbuilt specials and concept cars by French company Heuliez is to be sold at auction. The selection of 56 cars spans a huge spectrum from a Fiat 500 up to Le Mans racers but what really caught our eye were the oddball one-off conversions. Highlights include the Citroën BX Break De Chasse ‘Dyana', a three-door shooting break version of Gandini's classic, the 1972 Peugeot 204 Taxi H4 and the targa-roofed Citroën SM Espace.

Mercedes-Benz has released a video exploring the interior of its new A-Class featuring the designer who headed the project. Jan Kaul explains in the video how the inspiration behind the interior was the subject of aviation, the same inspiration that produced the Concept A-Class show car. CCTV ban will 'put pupils at risk'

GOVERNMENT PLANS to possibly ban CCTV parking cameras will put schoolchildren at risk, council leaders and head teachers have warned. Councils use CCTV enforcement vehicles to tackle dangerous and illegal parking outside schools including cars blocking driveways, driving along pavements and stopping on yellow zig-zag lines outside school gates. They are often introduced at the request of parents or teachers concerned about the safety of schoolchildren and act as a visible deterrent to the thoughtless minority of drivers who put children's safety at risk.
