Onan diesel generator. I bought this generator from a guy in Tampa that worked at a Cummins dealer. The guy had it sitting under a old tarp in his yard. The guy stated that it was a new generator that he bought on surplus. The guy stated that the Cummins dealer he works for serviced and sold these generators. He stated that sometimes if they had a customer come in and they did not have the part in stock they needed they would take it off a new unit and would replace it when the parts came in. He stated that this generator never got the parts put back on it and was left on a shelf until it was to old for them to sell it so he bought it, with intentions of getting it working but never did. When I bought this generator it was still bolted to a pallet but was rotted, it had the filters still wrapped , but we're sitting on ground so I threw them away. I believe it is missing exhaust manifold and not sure if anything else,please see pics. The hour meter reads .4 hrs, I was told this was from a run test at factory before being shipped. The generator is weathered as seen it pics. Motor turns over by hand. Please feel free to ask questions and good luck bidding. All items sold as is. Item must be picked up.
