There is no warranty on used tires. All tires have been visuallly inspected prior to listing and air tested prior to shipping. TKO Tire's staff has made a brief visual inspection and performed an air test to verify there is no apparent damage and provide and accurate tread depth measurement. If damage is found upon second inspection, we will not ship and will contact the customer within 24 hours to provide a replacement tire or a full refund. Some of the tires sold have been professionally repaired. These repairs have been inspected to verify they are done properly. We will not sell tires that have sidewall damage or have been repaired via plug. All repaired tires have been tested and are fully guaranteed. TKO Tire Accepts no liability on used tires. Tires can be returned within 2 weeks of purchase date for a refund or a replacement tire. Buyers will pay all return shipping costs and contact TKO Tire prior to returning the tire. Mercedes-Benz SLS prepped to go GT3 racing
Tue, 23 Mar 2010Mercedes-Benz AMG pulled the wraps off its new race car on Monday in Oaxaca, Mexico, scene of a commemoration of Mercedes' victory in the 1952 Carrera Panamericana. The new SLS GT3 is a modified Mercedes-Benz SLS intended to meet FIA homologation requirements for the GT3 class in series throughout the world. While it's not known what the production car will look like when it starts going to customers either this fall--according to the press release--or "before the start of the 2011 racing season," according to AMG's Thomas Rappel, the prototype shown in Oaxaca had a full roll cage, a new front skirt with splitter, rear diffusers and an enormous rear wing.

Demonstrating what can be done to the, frankly better than you think, C1 City car, Citroen has applied a makeover that turns the C1 in to a funky little ‘Allroad’ for a bit more rufty-tufty around town. Citroen calls its makeover of the C1 to create the Urban Concept as SUV-inspired with ‘go anywhere looks’.
VW Touareg BlueMotion hits the UK
Fri, 12 Jun 2009Volkswagen has announced the VW Touareg BlueMotion for the UK Offering improved economy and lower emissions, the Touareg BlueMotion manages to drop in to a lower Co2 band by emitting 219g/km (a reduction from 244g/km on the V6 TDi) and it delivers 34mpg as opposed to 30.4mpg on the V7 TDi. These improvements have been achieved by the usual ECU tweaking, low rolling resistance tyres, some aerodynamic tweaks and a lower ride height (exactly the same sort of stuff that Ford has done on the EConetic range). And the penalty for the lower emissions and better economy is very slight, with the Touareg BlueMotion still managing the 0-60mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 126mph.
