Vintage December 1949 American Motorcycling magazine formerly sent to and owned by the legendary Erwin G. Cannonball Baker! This is a hard to find vintage motorcycle magazine, let alone having a connection to one of motorcycling's earliest endurance riders. The magazine is in good shape on the inside, the cover has separated from the magazine and was taped at one time. Neat old ads for Triumph, Harley, and a look at the 1950 BSA model line up, as well as other articles and vintage ads of the period. For me, it was neat to have the magazine arrive at my home just about 62 years to the day after it's initial delivery, a cool feeling to sit and thumb through just like Cannonball did so many years ago. Jeep and Mopar create six concepts
Wed, 28 Mar 2012Jeep and Mopar have created six new vehicles in time for the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, which takes place from 31 March to 8 April. The six concepts join around 30 others developed since 2002 by the brands for the pleasure of Jeep enthusiasts. Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Concept Finished in Stone White, but with a theme of Mineral Gray – grille surround, mirror caps and rear light bar – and red – tow hooks, the Jeep logos on wheel center caps and bolt holes – visible throughout.
A look at Jaguar future products
Mon, 13 Aug 2012Jaguar will launch the all-new F-Type roadster next year as a halo car for the English brand. The F-Type takes styling cues from Jaguar's iconic E-Type from the 1960s and is expected to compete with cars such as the Porsche 911, said Andy Goss, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover North America. "We have to make sure the F-Type has an emotional pull similar to the Porsche 911," Goss said.

Much less – in light of our oft stated dislike of the Prius and all the motoring piousness it represents – let us review the latest Toyota Prius But it turns out that Toyota are a decent bunch of chaps who believe that their cars – even their hybrid cars – are capable of standing up to scrutiny, even with our well known antipathy to the whole hybrid direction. And let’s face it, so entrenched is the Prius as a ‘Planet Saver’ in the minds of many that even if we simply confirm our opinion after a week of playing it’s not really going to make much difference to Toyota.
