1949 American Motorcycling Magazine / Owned by Cannonball Baker! RARE!
This IS a one of a kind item!
Vintage December 1949 American Motorcycling magazine formerly sent to and owned by the legendary Erwin G. Cannonball Baker! This is a hard to find vintage motorcycle magazine, let alone having a connection to one of motorcycling's earliest endurance riders. The magazine is in good shape on the inside, the cover has separated from the magazine and was taped at one time. Neat old ads for Triumph, Harley, and a look at the 1950 BSA model line up, as well as other articles and vintage ads of the period. For me, it was neat to have the magazine arrive at my home just about 62 years to the day after it's initial delivery, a cool feeling to sit and thumb through just like Cannonball did so many years ago. THAT is something, you can't duplicate! Your chance to own a double bit of American motorcycle history! Thanks for looking!

Note regarding feedback: As of the new year, I will begin to give feedback after you have received the item and left your feedback for me. If you are happy with your purchase, let me know through the feedback. If there is a problem, let me know so I may rectify it. For me, as a seller, a problem does not always mean bad feedback. How we work to resolve an issue that may occur is what truly affects feedback, and until all issues are resolved, it is unfair to give feedback in advance. I will always strive for timely shipping, accurate descriptions of an item, fair value, and making your purchase one you are truly happy with. Many thanks to all my customers, and the very best to you! Joe

Mon, 17 Aug 2009By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 17 August 2009 11:00 Kia has stayed remarkably faithful to its No.3 concept car for its new mini-MPV, the Venga. Forget the name's reference to Arsenal's football manager or annoying Ibiza soundtracks, the Venga is all about sensible family transport. It's the more practical Soul – with the space of a C-segment, Focus-style car in the footprint of a supermini, claims Kia. Eh?

Toyotafest: Accelerating into history
Sat, 08 May 2010When you think of automotive history, the names that come to mind are carmakers celebrating their centennials such as Alfa Romeo, Ford and Mercedes-Benz. But the younger carmakers deserve some historical props, too. Toyota has only been in existence 77 years and on sale in the United States for only 50, but it has a small and growing cadre of dedicated enthusiasts nonetheless.
