Mitsubishi PX-MiEV Concept at Tokyo

Thu, 01 Oct 2009

The Mitsubishi PX-MiEV Concept - a hybrid crossover The ‘PX’ bit of the name is Mitsubishi’s code for Plug-in Hybrid Crossover (saves a bit of room on the boot lid), so the PX-MiEV gets a 1.6 litre 4-pot to drive the front wheels together with an electric motor. An additional electric motor is used to power the rear wheels when circumstances dictate. The PX-MiEV can also run for up to 30 miles in EV mode, after which it turns in to a hybrid to drive and recharge the batteries.

Sat, 26 Feb 2011

Koenigsegg Agera R - confirmed for Geneva We discovered last month that one of only two Koenigsegg Agera’s so far delivered had been turned in to a Koenigsegg Agera R – with extra horses and extra Koenigesegg goodness – for a member of the Oman Royal Family. After a few phone calls we were also able to exclusively reveal that Christian von Koenigesegg liked what he’d done to the Agera so much, the Koenigsegg Agera R was to be turned in to a production model and would turn up at the Geneva Motor Show. And so it is.

Porsche Cayenne based Eterniti Artemis production debut

Fri, 09 Nov 2012

The Eterniti Artemis – a titivated Porsche Cayenne – is shown in almost production-ready guise before a debut in Asia in 2013. But despite plenty of negatives about the Eterniti Artemis – not least of which are how it looks and how much it costs – Eterniti seem sure they have a market – certainly in Asia – and they’re now showing us what is pretty much the production-ready version of the Artemis (above). Power comes from the same V8 Turbo the Cayenne Turbo gets, but Eterniti have tweaked it to deliver 600bhp and 750Nm of torque, despite which it’s no quicker than the £107k Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
