College Exhibition: Creapole MA Degree Show 2011

Creapole Design School – 'Ecole de Creation Management' as it refers to itself – has just held its annual Masters Week exhibition at its central Parisian premises. The focus of this year's show is 'intelligent technology', proposing alternative propulsion systems for the transport of tomorrow, from the urban to the aquatic, from the functional to the fictional. The challenge for these young designers is to take these new technologies and apply them in an attractive, meaningful and human way.

Mercedes-Benz considering Aston Martin buyout

Mercedes-Benz is reportedly considering a deal to buyout sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, which would increase the firm’s current 5% stake in the British brand. Following a deal to supply AMG engines to Aston for its next generation of vehicles (hence the current 5% share), a buyout or even further investment in Aston Martin could be beneficial to both brands. The Ken Block Monster Ford Fiesta Rally car (Sn*Drift video below) We’re big fans of Ken Block’s abilities here at Cars UK Towers. We’ve run a couple of Ken Block Videos before, including the Ken Block Gymkhana 2.1 video and the Ken Block on Top Gear video (which TG unsportingly blocked – as they do) – and even Ken Block driving a MKII Escort – and they show off the skills of a man at the top of his game. But Ken has moved on from Subaru, and is this year driving the Monster Ford Fiesta Rally WRT car instead.
