Toyota Recall Update: Half of UK cars now fixed
Mon, 15 Mar 2010Toyota has fixed half of the 180k cars recalled over the sticky throttle problems It seems like forever ago that we revealed the enormous problems Toyota had with a mass worldwide recall on a chunk of the cars they’ve produced in the last few years, but it’s actually only a little over a month – even less since we reported on the Prius recall. Thu, 07 Sep 2006By Phil McNamara Motor Industry 07 September 2006 08:47 Chevrolet has issued this sneak preview of its forthcoming family hatch – disguised as a World Touring Car. The production model should use GM's next-generation Delta platform, which will also underpin the next Astra and a proposed Saab hot hatch.
Euro NCAP latest results
Wed, 19 Dec 2007By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 19 December 2007 11:36 The latest round of Euro NCAP results are announced today, with another round of high scores from a range of superminis and family cars. Daihatsu's Materia supermini and, surprisingly, the Honda Civic trailed the pack with only four stars for occupant safety, but the Merc C-class, Renault Laguna, Volvo V70 and – impressively – the tiny Mazda 2 all came out with the top score.
