Goodwood Revival Sold Out – but there’s a few ‘Turn up & Hope’ tickets left for tomorrow
Thu, 15 Sep 2011Goodwood Revival 2011 Sold Out We always say the Goodwood Festival of Speed is just about the best event of the year; diverse, interesting and fun – even for the non-petrolhead. But the Goodwood Revival – which starts tomorrow and goes on over the weekend – is a really fun motoring nostalgia-fest of fun and frolics, costumes and stalls, cars and racing. New Hyundai Sante Fe is the safest car in its class
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe has been revealed as the safest car in its class by Euro NCAP, ahead of cars like the new Range Rover. But looking good and driving well are just part of the motivation for car buyers, with many wanting to make sure they carry their loved ones around in a car that not only appeals with its design and driving, but one which offers as much safety as modern technology can provide. So Hyundai has something to crow about this morning with the news that the new Santa Fe has been revealed as the safest car in its class in 2012 by Euro NCAP – those nice people who destroy cars to see just how well bolted together they are – beating others in the ‘Large Off-Road 4×4′ category like the new Mercedes M Class and new Range Rover in the process.
Bertone to celebrate 100th anniversary with Nuccio concept
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Bertone will introduce its new Nuccio concept car at the Geneva Motor Show as it celebrates its 100th anniversary. The concept – named after the son of the company's founder Nuccio Bertone, who died in 1997 – appears to take inspiration from the 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero, one of Bertone's most famous designs, created by Marcello Gandini. The similarities in these teaser sketches include the extreme wedge profile and hood/windscreen surface, highlighted in orange.
