1931 Ford Model “A” Instruction Book - An original and not a reprint.

This is a great piece of Ford Model A memorabilia for the collector.

Ford Model A Instruction Book, Copyright 1931 by Ford Motor Company.

The Model A Instruction Book is sometimes referred to as an Operator’s Manual.

This booklet contains the maintenance and operation information needed for the new owner.

It contains a fair amount of repair information but is NOT a service manual.

This manual is 5 1/2 x 7 ¾, and it has 50 pages.

These books were printed and copyrighted by Ford Motor Company.

This book is Ford Form #1940 and would be provided with the 1931 Model A's that had the "sidebowl" carburetor (March 1931 till the end of production).

Please note this booklet does have minor imperfections.

The imperfections are as follows:

  • The cover (front and back) is soiled and water stained
  • There is some water damage on the inside but the type is not damaged
  • The staples are rusted but the booklet is firm and not falling apart.

If you have any questions or need more info, just send me an email.

... and please check my other auctions. Lots of Model A stuff available right now. Thanks for looking and good luck.

Here are the key changes: Chassis The F30 is still, of course, rear-wheel drive, has 50:50 weight distribution, and sticks with the MacPherson strut front/multi-link rear suspension layout of its predecessors rather than following the double-wishbone front suspension employed by the new F10 5-series.
