This is an original pair of hood hinges for a 1955 or 1956 chevy bel air 210, or 150. Passenger car.

Have been in my parts stash for over 25 years.

These were removed from a wrecked California 55 hardtop in the late 70's. the car had about 60,000 miles.

They are not worn. There is one rivet that is a little loose, just needs to be tightened up. Springs are included.

Some surface only rust, no pits or rust through.

Might be OK for a driver. Should restore nicely.

2015 Cadillac ATS-V spied chasing BMW M3

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

The Cadillac ATS was conceived as a BMW 3-series fighter, so it stands to reason that a hotter version of the rear-wheel drive sedan -- a Cadillac ATS-V -- would be called forth to challenge the mighty M3. New spy photos seem to show just that. Of course, this could be a case of a privately owned BMW M3 being in the right place at the right time, catching up with what appears to be a heavily camouflaged Cadillac ATS-V on the road somewhere outside metropolitan Detroit.

Ferrari 458 Italia Spider leaks out. Probably.

Sat, 20 Aug 2011

Ferrari 458 Italia Spider leaks out - probably It’s only a couple of weeks since we reported that Ferrari would be taking the convertible 458 to Frankfurt, and now we have a set of three leaked photos of the Ferrari 458 Italia Spider in all its glory, doubtless leaked out from a magazine printers. We’re not completely convinced the photos of the 458 Spider are real – they seem familiar somehow and could be good Photoshops – but if they are real there’s no doubt Ferrari won’t be amused – as Italians seldom are under these circumstances. But assuming the photos are real they just tell us what we already know – the 458 Spider is the regular 458 Italia with its roof chopped off.
