Mercedes gave a quick flash of their cool new A Class Coupe and then whipped it off to the Berlin Fashion Week for a proper debut, clearly showing that Mercedes think the new CLA a style statement as much as a car. Yes, yes - it's only a new paint job on the Alfa Romeo 4C concept car. But the 4C remains one of our favourite show cars in recent years, so we're only too happy to show off its new Fluid Metal colour scheme. The 4C will be shown again at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show on 13 September.

IED Creative Diary 2011

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) will be offering a total of 36 scholarships to students hoping to enter the university this year. The schools' Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management departments will all offer places on selected courses. As part of this, the IED international network grant scholarship has launched the 'creative diary', a daily showcase that highlights the work of students who will all be competing to win one of the 36 international scholarships.
