As far as I know, I am the third owner of this 1963 XK E-Type Coupe Ser. No. J63888492 (Black) which I purchased in 1964.
Original Owner purchased the Jaguar June 3 1963, Larry Smith from Peter Satori Motors Pasadena Ca. USA
Mr Smith had a repair done at Satori's on July 22 1963 with 3256 miles on vehicle.
Second Owner was the Golf Pro at Stockdale Country Club, in Bakersfield, Ca. Was
Carol Hansen (A personal friend of mine).
Mr Hansen had a repair done at Leach Motors in Kingsburg Ca. On December 2, 1963. With 9190 miles on the vehicle.
Soon after the first of the year 1964, I purchased the Jaguar and owned her for approx. 3 years.
Mr. Hansen needed all the cash flow possible as he was building his own course (Sherwood Forest Golf Links) in Sanger Ca. Just outside of Fresno. I flew Mr. Hansen over the site for the aerial survey and helped in the construction of the course.
Valuable friend ships were formed around the Jaguar and Carol gave me a Life Time Free Pass to the Course on opening day.
A small side note was with the card, "No Free Balls" the River has your name on it....

Hyundai has announced the i10 ES & i30 ES with extra equipment Hyundai are cleverly playing the ‘Scrappage Card’ with their range, and offering some very good headline prices for their already economical range. Hyundai has revealed prices for the 2013 Santa Fe, which moves upmarket with new looks and new pricing. Starts at £25,495. The new Hyundai Santa Fe (which isn’t the new ix45) seems a long way on from the boxy, almost utilitarian, current Santa Fe with its take on Hyundai’s Fluidic design mantra, now dubbed ‘Storm’, making the new Santa Fe look a much more premium offering than the current model.

Vauxhall VXR8 & SMART for-two CDI take MPG Marathon honours On the face of it, it’s reasonable to expect a car as small as the SMART for-two CDI to be capable of astonishing economy if driven in a certain way. And the ALD Automotive / Shell FuelSave MPG Marathon, run last week near Cirencester, proved exactly that, with a SMART driven by Mick Linford and co-driver Ella Flynn managing to use less than four gallons of diesel to cover the 370 mile route. That means the SMART fortwo CDI averaged 99.24mpg on the route on real roads, an improvement of 16 per cent on the official combined figure of 85.6.
