Up for auction is a 1965 Chevrolet Impala Black Steering wheel. It is 17" in diameter and is in good used condition with some paint wear and the usual cracks. It is complete with all four chrome rim dividers and horn mounting hardware. The chrome on the horn bezel is in good condition. Its in good shape for its age and would be great for your Impala Hot Rod Rat Rod Lowrider or old Chevy. Or would be a good restoration candidate.

RCA team helps develop all-electric London taxi proposal
Fri, 17 Jan 2014The Royal College of Art's Vehicle Design program and the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design have collaboratedwith Turkish car manufacturer Karsan to develop a proposal for the first all-electric London taxi. An RCA team – co-led by Professor Dale Harrow and the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design's deputy director Rama Gheerawo – has been working with Karsan and its consultancy Hexagon Studio for over a year and to develop a public transport vehicle to suit Londoners of all ages and abilities. The team analyzed a current London taxi in a ‘co-creation workshop' and conducted interviews with taxi drivers, which showed many are over 65 and frequently spend the entire working day inside their cabs.
Pforzheim University Summer Show 2007
Fri, 03 Aug 2007Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's summer degree show held in July, one of two graduation shows per year. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, a Honda project by MA students, and a Renault exterior and interior project by the 4th, 5th and 7th semester students. Projects by students graduating from the four year Diploma course included: Super Kit Car Andreas Zimolong In recent years there has been increasing demand for individualized products and for aftermarket customization. Sun, 21 Nov 2010The Tesla Toyota RAV4 EV A couple of weeks ago we ran a story on the Tesla Toyota RAV4 EV, an electric Toyota RAV4 endowed with electric car gubbins by Tesla. That’s the same Tesla in whom Toyota recently acquired a stake and provided with a factory with a capacity at least twenty times that which Tesla will ever need. We speculated when the tease came in for the electric RAV4 that maybe Toyota had plans to get Tesla to run out electric versions of all its cars at the new Tesla plant to take up the enormous slack in production numbers.
