Offered here is an ORIGINAL set of California Emission System Components taken off a 1966 California built and based 289 Ford/Mercury Engine. The car these came off of was built in May, 1966.

The components have been media blasted, cleaned and painted with Hammerite paint. The pump moves freely. Part numbers found on the components are:

Pump: 7817872

Pump Belt Adjusting Bracket: C6OE-A

The left and right Smog Tubes have also been media blasted and painted. They are in fair condition, and one has a crack in it. All of the smog tube nuts and ferrules are included.

Dealers participating in the "cash for guzzlers" program must visit www.cars.gov to find a list of facilities that may qualify for scrapping vehicles and then make sure the company can crush or shred trade-ins, according to preliminary rules on the Web site. The government posted the rules today for the program, designed to lift U.S. light-vehicle sales from 27-year lows.

New Corvette Stingray owners can get a sweet deal at the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Nevada. The two-day program will cost owners just $1,000, instead of the usual $2,500, Chevy said on Wednesday. “We designed the Corvette Stingray to make its owners better drivers through technologies such as the driver mode selector, active rev match, electronic limited-slip differential and more,” said Tim Mahoney, chief marketing officer, global Chevrolet.
