Description:  This is an original 1920's era Split Rim.  This rim is straight and solid with some minor metal pitting.  I'm not sure if it's a 23" or 24" rim, but the actual measurements are; 24 7/16" outer diameter, 22 13/16" inner diameter, with a 3 3/8" overall width.  This one looks very similar to late 1920's Chevrolet Split Rims made by Jaxon.  Please do your own research to make sure the part will work for your application.

Tesla takes a swipe at BMW & Audi

Tesla’s design boss, Franz von Holzhausen, says the BMW i3 is an IKEA car We’ve long been of the opinion that electric cars, certainly with the current levels of battery technology, can never be a replacement for an ICE car. But we do have soft spot for what Tesla are doing. That’s because Tesla has tackled the issues of electric cars in  the cleverest way possible by building a car (the Model S) that looks like a normal luxury car – rather than making it look odd or quirky just to ram home its difference – and made it travel a sensible distance on a single charge.

Viva La Viva

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

VAUXHALL is to resurrect the Viva name as it plans to launch an entry-level car to sit alongside its Mini rival the Adam and soon to be launched new Corsa supermini. For now the car maker isn’t giving much away, although it has revealed that the new car will be a five-door model. And while the new Viva will be a significant step up in terms of refinement and sophistication over its 1963 namesake, it’s clear that Vauxhall is keen to tap into the current trend for producing low cost cars that’s proved so successful for the likes of Dacia.
