Original 56 57 58 Early 59 Corvette Road Draft Vent Tube on 2040-parts.com
Merrimack, New Hampshire, United States
This is an original road draft tube for 1956-Early 1959 Corvettes, GM # 3726641 in Gr. 1.762, as shown in my 1957 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Mar. 1957). The road draft tube is generally in good condition EXCEPT for two small dents (photo # 7) located about 6" from the "elbow". When mounted on an engine these small dents would be out of view. The "elbow" that attaches the tube to the engine also needs to be brazed or welded (See photos #2, 6, and 10).
NOTE: The top end of the tube is cut at about a 45 or so degree angle. This road draft tube has a small capitol letter "M" stamped on the bracket (see photo #5). Shipping will be in a 24" X 14" X4" carton weighing 4 lbs. I will ship the tube via the USPS Priority Mail, fully insured. |
