Condition:Used

This is a used original accelerator control cable support, GM # 326564 as listed in my 1973  Chevrolet Parts Catalogs in Gr. 3.454 for the 1973 ALL MODELS with 4BC.  The bracket is also shown in the 1972 Camaro Assembly Manual ( UPC 6N, Sheet 4).  The support is in very good condition without any damage. I cleaned the support with my wire wheel. NOTE: this support does have the pin and does does have the GM part number 326564 stamped on it.

According to Chevrolet Parts History GM # 3949071 was replaced with GM # 3972618 in April 1970 which was replaced with GM # 3992376 in October 1970 which was replaced with GM # 326564 in July 1972. The last photo (#8) is from the Nasty Z28 Forum showing  the 5 different supports that were used from 1969 to 1973.

ANOTHER NOTE: I have an original 3992376 support (for 1970--1971 models) as well as an original 3949071 support (for 1969-1970 models) currently in other Ebay auctions. I also have have a 3998796 support (1970-1971 Chevrolet trucks) currently in another Ebay auction. I do not have a 3972618 support (Early 1970 models).

Bid on this support only if you want an original GM part. I believe that reproductions of this part are available for about $25 for those who do not care about originality.

Shipping will be via the USPS Priority Mail fully insured.

One lap of the Web: A drive with Magnus and drifting an Jag XJ220

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

Unkempt Porsche trend-maker Magnus Walker's brand of customized 911 has the world buzzing. If the magazine covers and documentaries aren't enough, consider that one of his builds just sold for $302,000 at Gooding's Monterey Sale -- against a high estimate of $150,000. Pretty steep for a customized 911.

The Alfa Romeo 4C (pictured) out on track – on video The Alfa Romeo 4C has been on its way for longer than it should have been. But Alfa Romeo finally got round to revealing the 4C in prodiction spec at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and visitors to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month will get to see the 4C strutting its stuff up the hillclimb. But ahead of that dynamic debut, Alfa has released new video of the 4C out playing on the Balocco Racetrack in Italy, with a few wailing exhausts notes but far to much dramatic music as a soundtrack.
