James Bond car chases – 50 years in 2 compilation videos

With the James Bond film franchise celebrating 50 years, we have two videos of Bond car chases to enjoy. For those of us who grew up with Sean Connery and Aston Martin as the Bond ingredients that matter, nothing is better than James Bond in an Aston Martin DB5. The car won't be shown until the Paris motor show this autumn, but you don't need to wait that long in this internet age – Ferrari is gradually revealing its new baby bit by bit online over the next few months. The five teaser pictures reveal a wide, low, oval front grille, distinctive creases around the door handles, five-spoke alloys, a third rear brake light and a sloping rear end.The official website also has four audio clips of the new Ferrari starting up, revving, running through the gears and then being driven hard.

How Fisker fell apart

At last week's politically charged congressional hearing on the troubles of Fisker Automotive, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said that the company had "no business acumen" and that "taxpayers have effectively subsidized luxury novelty vehicles for the likes of Justin Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Gore." Ouch. Republicans eager to score points against President Obama had a field day last week with Fisker.
