Jeep Wrangler and Chevrolet Cruze are checked for engine fires
Mon, 02 Apr 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into complaints that some Jeep Wrangler vehicles and Chevrolet Cruze sedans are prone to engine fires. The investigation is taking a look at the 2010 Jeep Wrangler and the 2011 Chevy Cruze. NHTSA says it has eight complaints about engine fires in the Wrangler and two complaints about the Cruze.

This is a 34% increase over the previous year’s figures and is costing every household in the UK an extra £50 a year on their premium. Much of the fraud is due to ‘crash for cash’ incidents, where criminal drivers deliberately cause a collision with an innocent driver to claim for damage to their car and whiplash.
Almost 90% of drivers ignoring MOT checks
Thu, 17 Apr 2014AN INCREDIBLE 86% of drivers think their car will pass its MoT test first time and without the need for any remedial or service work. A further 62% of British drivers fail to put any money aside to help with the cost of an MoT and any repairs that result from the legally required annual test. The research by Asda Money found that only 7% of drivers think their car will fail its MoT.
