This auction is for a vintage Faria 8,000 RPM tachometer. This tachometer was made by Faria instruments. This tach has the same face as the infamous Rotunda 8,000 RPM tach with the Faria Logo in place of the Rotunda logo. This tach is for 8 cylinder applications.

The 8,000 RPM Rotunda tach is well known for being installed on early to mid 60's high performance Ford vehicles including the 64 Thunderbolt and early Shelby Cobras. The Rotunda tach was sold over the dealer parts counter and dealer installed on many late 60's high performance cars. This is a very rare tachometer that will really stand out at car shows and cruise nights. This will definitely separate you car from the rest of the pack! This is your chance to own a tachometer like the Rotunda version at a fraction of the cost.

This tach is in very good condition as shown. The face is very nice with a bright vibrant dial as shown.. The lens curved glass lens is very nice with no scratching or damage. The original lamp on the top of the face still works! The front bezel shines well with no pitting. The original mounting bracket is intact as shown. This is simply a very nice original Faria 8,000 RPM tach.

This is a super cool vintage high performance tachometer. This is a true vintage speed part that would look great in you car or collection.

This tach has been tested and works great. There is a video of this tach being tested at the bottom of this description. Click on the picture and the video will play.

This is your chance to own a very hard original 8,000 RPM Rotunda tach for your special car or collection! Don't Miss Out!

I am happy to combine shipping on multiple items whenever possible.

Check out my other listings for more rare and hard to find muscle car parts.

Good Luck!

Toyota Fuel Cell Sedan

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

The exterior design of the Toyota Fuel Cell Sedan has been unveiled and, much to our disappointment, it appears to be a productionized version of last year's FCV concept, a car we felt one of the least impressive of 2013 in terms of design resolution. The Fuel Cell Sedan retains the FCV's gaping lower mask gills that appear to be blanked-off in this instance. They lend the car a very aggressive, hungry face – surely a negative message for a car that majors on a technology that promises to be incredibly efficient and environmentally-friendly.

Ford Ranger Wildtrak – Geneva debut

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

Ford Ranger Wildtrak - on sale in November It’s not just the Ford B-Max and the Ford Vertrek that are getting an airing at the Geneva Motor Show this week – it’s Ford’s commercial stuff too. Well, Ford’s pick-up crossed with a  car, anyway. Ford are showing off their range-topping Ford Ranger Wildtrak, all butch and blue with a fake rollover bar but a real ground clearance and decent wading depth.

Subaru Canada reveals ‘Driving Confidence’ contest winners

Fri, 17 Feb 2012

Subaru Canada has revealed the top three designs from its ‘Driving Confidence' competition. The Canadian division of the company collaborated with the artist web site deviantART and called for "original creations that celebrate the bold design, superior handling, and meticulous engineering that Subaru vehicles are renowned for." The challenge asked for competitors to push their creativity "to the limit", which many of them did with some impressively-abstract designs. The winner won $2,500 for "Born to Rally in the Snow," the second place received $1,000 for "Unleash the Beast," while third place was awarded $500 for "Subaru Slot Car Set." The runner-up was "Subaru Impreza WRC Rally 'The Pass 2'." All of the submissions are being displayed at Subaru's booth at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto and in the gallery above.
