Also :
The Spey began carving a niche for itself in the aircraft industry by being fitted to everything from the McDonnell Douglas Phantoms used by the Royal Navy and RAF, through to the BAC 111 medium haul jet, Vought A-7's used on US carriers, Gulfstreams, Nimrods and even the Chinese B-7 all-weather attack fighter. Beyond that, it was also used on the ground for power generation and as the main motive power for Royal Navy warships.

As far back as 2009, Jaguar privately confessed that the lack of an XF Estate was down to the lack of a 4WD platform to make the XF Estate a proper competitor in the luxury load-lugging market. Chrysler future products: Only one minivan, no Jeep Compass

Tue, 29 May 2012

In 2014, Chrysler Group will drop the Jeep Compass and replace the Chrysler Town & Country minivan with a crossover, Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has revealed. The changes are part of a long-term effort by Marchionne to give each Chrysler Group brand a more distinct identity and eliminate product overlaps. Brand identity is crucial for Chrysler because more than 90 percent of its dealerships now sell all four volume brands: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.
