By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 15 August 2008 10:27 Against the backdrop of this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, Cadillac has pulled the wraps off two bold new models – its CTS Sport Wagon and the CRX crossover. The two cars mark a decade of Cadillac’s distinctive ‘Art and Science’ design theme – and they’re as edgy and creased as you’d expect. It’s the work of Cadillac’s global design director Clay Dean, and we reckon his team has done a pretty good job of incorporating the company’s distinctively edge look and feel with its neatly extended roofline and the way the V-shaped grille is reflected in the wedgy profile of the tailgate.

Auctions America by RM enjoyed a successful debut in Las Vegas this past weekend, selling more than $4.1 million worth of vintage motorcycles, with an impressive 82 percent sell-through rate of all lots offered. The event at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Jan. 12-14 had strong attendance, with thousands of enthusiasts gathering to see 490 motorcycles and a range of bike-related memorabilia cross the auction block.

A Californian woman is thought to be the first ever motorist to receive a ticket for driving while wearing ‘Google Glass’ computer spectacles. Cecilia Abadie was written up under a state law banning drivers from watching TV behind the wheel, which the officer in question believed Ms Abadie’s transgression fell under.
