:

Original Hurst shifter from a 65 GTO. I removed this shifter about 6 years ago from a running car and was left over from a restoration. Had a Muncie transmission. Look closely at the lower part of the handle, not sure if it was heated and bent or not. The car was a console car and the shifter fit well through the console. When removed the shifter worked good as was tight. No reserve auction, hard to come by original parts...

But at the top end it’s a whole different game, and prices are not in thousands of pounds, but millions.

An IAM survey of local councillors earlier this year showed that those affiliated with Labour were, in the IAM’s estimation, the most committed to road safety.
