You are bidding on an original Jaguar Series 1 EType Wire Wheel Knock-off set (4).  These were taken off my 1967 EType Roadster, a car I have owned since 1978.  New knock-offs were purchased for my car's restoration.  I would say these are in good condition with normal damage from the brass knock-off hammer.  See pictures.  I hope you can use them.

Go racing on the iPad with PadRacer

Fri, 07 May 2010

The Apple iPad is looking more and more like a gaming device--in addition to the world-changing tablet we were promised. But no complaints here, the PadRacer game for the device looks like a perfect time-waster for people who are supposed to look busy. PadRacer (www.itunes.com, $5) is a top-view racing game for four players similar to the old Ivan “Ironman” Stewart’s Super Off-Road arcade game.

VW Beetle GSR: Price from £24,900

Fri, 10 May 2013

The Beetle GSR is a homage to the Yellow-Black Racer Beetle from the 1970s (GSR stands for Gelb Schwarzer Renner – which means Yellow-Black Racer) which featured a similar paint job, boosted power (a whole 49bhp) and was also limited to 3,500 units. But the 2013 version of the Beetle GSR does at least offer much more get up and go than the 1970s GSR managed. That means the GSR comes with VW’s 2.0 litre turbo with 207bhp which is enough to get the yellow Bug to 62mph in 7.3 seconds on its way top 142mph, and is the same power output all Beetles with the 2.0 litre TSI will get from May 1st (up from 197bhp).
