Very rare and probably the only one of its kind.  My grandfather was a draftsman for Nash, Ford, AMC, and Chrysler.  These were his.  I have no further information than that.  We are an automotive family who have been in Detroit since the 1870's so my family has been involved since then.  My grandfather is portrayed in the Diego Rivera mural at the Detroit Institute of Arts carrying a 2 x 4.  He was friends with Diego.

The only part of this blueprint that has been altered is the far right corner's part number has been cut out.  I cannot tell you why or when that happened but I'm sure it wasn't in my lifetime.  This measures about 11 x 17 so it is a "B" blueprint and it is linen (not Mylar).  It is all hand-drawn in pencil and ink and is the design for Nash-Healey.  I don't think you'll find one like this that has the date of 1950 for a medallion hood top front.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

I do not ship outside the USA.

Thanks for looking!

New Ford Kuga (2012) to debut at Los Angeles Motor Show

Wed, 05 Oct 2011

2012 Ford Kuga / Escape to debut at Los Angeles 2011 - based on the Vertrek Concept (above) Yes, strictly speaking the debut of the new Ford Kuga at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November is actually for the 2013 Ford Escape. But in the new ‘One World’ of Ford the new Escape – based on the Ford Vertrek Concept from this year’s Detroit Motor Show – will, with just a few changes, become Europe’s new Ford Kuga. What makes it even more certain that the Escape is much the same as the Kuga will be is news on the engines.

Mercedes-Benz SLC supercar spied on the road

Wed, 28 Jan 2009

There is life after the SLR for Mercedes, and spy shooters have caught plastic-clad versions of the new SLC that's due for 2011. We've seen this car before, but it continues to make us lick our chops. Previous shots showed gullwings, which these prototypes appear to have, though the doors are closed.

McLaren launches P1 'Designing by Air' online experience

Fri, 03 May 2013

McLaren has developed a new online experience, 'Designed by Air' to tell the story of the car's design and development. Designed by Air is the first of a two-part series and gives users the chance to hear in detail how the car was created, as the car appears from raw metallic and carbon elements and is crafted by airflow. The P1 is eventually formed inside a wind tunnel, designed to emphasize the car's aerodynamic qualities.
