Fine, bright condition, with mild signs of handling. The colors (even the red) are as new, and it is clear that this brochure was carefully stored away from light and wear by a collector.+
Country//Region of Manufacture:Italy

The Ferrari 250 series is among the most loved examples of the marque.  The 250GT Berlinetta Lusso ("Luxury") was the last model, with 351 produced between January 1963 and August, 1964.  Three litres, V12, 150mph, and craftsmanship throughout.

To my best knowledge, there are two versions of this brochure.  The most attractive version, of which this is one, I have seen described as being either in Italian or English, as this one is.  The other brochure, less attractive, was tri-lingual: Italian, French, and English.  Both versions are very rare.

On the web, I find that one tri-lingual copy ("new," but with a hard fold in the middle) was offered at some time in the past by autolit.eu for 650 Euros (equal to $710 to $900 depending on the year).  Visitors to autolit are invited to express interest in case another becomes available.

This version I only find offered once, in Italian, at the Bonhams Les Grandes Marques a Monaco - Collectors Sports and Grand Touring Motor Cars and Automobilia (2007, Auction 15487 lot 1).  At that time, nine years ago, it went for the equivalent of $512, several times the price fetched by other Ferrari brochures in that sale.

I find no mention of sales of this version in English.  Apparently, this is a very unusual opportunity.

Driven: BMW Z4

Mon, 01 Jun 2009

Loved as it may be by its loyal fanbase, the outgoing Z4 was always something of a mixed bag in terms of design. While the car's classic long-bonnet, cab-back profile and short overhangs should have pleased the eye, the BMW's sheer frontal mass made its proportions seem out of balance. The application of the company's then-new ‘flame surfacing' form language also generated a visual business that seemed out of place on something as conceptually simple as a roadster.

Renault Scenic XMOD

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

In a move that marks the huge shift in interest from MPVs and minivans to SUVs, the definitive ‘mini-MPV' Renault Scenic has been rehashed and reborn as a pseudo off-roader. The addition of unpainted bumpers and lower body cladding, along with some metallic-effect details is a clear attempt to stem the flood of buyers choosing cars such as the Nissan Qashquai. It may be little more than an Allroad-style makeover rather than a new format but it speaks volumes in terms of how the family car market has shifted and not only in Europe.

Infiniti M37 – Prices, specs +video

Mon, 19 Jul 2010

The Infiniti M37 starts at £35,150 in the UK We’ve covered just about everything Infiniti has thrown out in the last year as they seek to establish a presence in the UK and Europe. They debuted the Infiniti M at Geneva in the Spring, and today we have price and spec details for the Infiniti M37, the first of three Infiniti M models hitting the UK and Europe in the next few months. Sadly, Infiniti has felt it necessary to make the M37 the biggest engine on offer, deciding that fuel thrifty Europe wouldn’t be interested in the big V8, 5.6 litre M56.
