Google Glasses driver has ticket torn up
Tue, 21 Jan 2014An American driver who was fined for driving while wearing Google Glasses has had the ticket torn up. Cecilia Abadie was stopped by police in California who said the Google Glass digital spectacles fell foul of laws banning drivers from watching TV when behind the wheel. We may not actually get a public debut of the 2012 SEAT Ibiza until the Geneva Motor Show in March, but SEAT are previewing that public debut with details of the facelift and photos of the new Ibiza. All three body styles for the Ibiza get facelifted – the three-door SC, five-door hatch and Ibiza Estate (ST) – with the most immediately noticeable feature being a nose that looks like it came from the SEAT IBX Concept we saw at Geneva last year and which looks set to be the new face of SEAT.
Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid EV (PHEV) Paris 2012 debut
Mon, 18 Jun 2012A production version of the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) will debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. Mitsubishi has already had a couple of stabs at a plug-in hybrid Outlander EV, with the PX-MiEV at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009 and then again with the imaginatively named PX-MiEV II at last year’s Tokyo Show. But now we’re about to get the production version.
