Here is a great vintage original aluminum bomber plane. I don't know what this was originally made for, but it would look great on your Hot Rod, Rat Rod, or Custom car or truck. It would look especially cool on the hood of a bomber themed vehicle. It appears to be made of polished cast aluminum. It is 5.5 inches wide from wing tip to wing tip and 5 inches from the nose to the tail. There are 2 screw holes in the bottom of the base for attaching it or it couod be cut off the base and attached. The base is 4 3/8 inches from front to back, 2.5 inches wide, and about 5 inches tall. Used car market pressure eases
Thu, 10 Oct 2013AN INCREASE in the number of used cars coming into the market has “taken the edge off prices” and calmed some corners of the industry, according to used car pricing experts CAP. A greater influx of part-exchange cars arriving at dealers is partly responsible, and with many franchised dealers focusing for the time being on selling those vehicles, competition to acquire stock on the open market has decreased. CAP reports that the pressure has been lifted on some dealers who had become frustrated at how expensive it was becoming to source cars at fair prices.
N.J. decal law upsets teens, parents
Fri, 04 Jun 2010A New Jersey law--the first of its kind in the country--requiring drivers younger than 21 to put a small red decal on their license plates has both teens and adults upset, according to a story on the Wall Street Journal Web site. When one mother took her 16-year-old to the Motor Vehicle Commission for a learner's permit, the clerk told her she needed to buy red decals for her daughter. "When hell freezes over, I'll buy those stickers," she told the Journal.
