Origo 6000 Marine Alcohol Stove/oven on 2040-parts.com
New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
Origo 6000 Marine Alcohol Stove with oven. This unit is a non-pressurized type of alcohol stove that is safer and easier to use than the pressurized type, it uses fuel containers that have a wicking material inside that makes the alcohol virtually impossible to spill and will not flare up in normal use. You can buy alcohol stove fuel at West Marine or similar stores, or you can do what I do and buy denatured alcohol at a paint store. These can be very hard to find used, and new they sell for around $1500. This particular stove is in very good condition and functionally complete. The only item that is missing is one of the boat side gimbal brackets - this is the single rectangular bracket that is shown in the last picture. The stove is made entirely of stainless steel and is very durable and reliable, and there is basically nothing on it to fail. I have the two burner stove without the oven (basically just the top part of this unit) that I have moved from boat to boat over the last 24 years and have been very happy with it.

Poll: Would you buy a Subaru Liberty Exiga station wagon?
Fri, 28 Mar 2014Last week, we asked you if you'd be interested in buying a Hyundai i20, a hatch even smaller than the Accent hatchback currently sold in the U.S. market. An overwhelming 84 percent of our readers said that they would be interested in the i20 if it were available here, perhaps attracted by the 73-mpg combined rating of its fuel-sipping 1.1-liter three-cylinder diesel and its $10,755 base price.
