A/C Compressors: Replacement A/C Compressors are subject to failure if the system is not evacuated and flushed and new Accumulator Drier, Orifice Tube, and Seals installed. In order for us to warranty a Compressor purchased from us, we must receive proof that these other components were replaced and the system was properly flushed. We do offer everything you need to do a complete A/C job, but if you choose to purchase those items from another source we would simply need a copy of your invoice for the parts in order to warranty the Compressor. Once we have received your return we will conduct a full inspection of the part to verify that it meets the above guidelines. After we've completed our inspection, a prompt refund will be issued including any applicable sales tax. VW Golf (2012) - prices for new Mk7 Golf from £16,330

Volkswagen today announced prices for the new Mk7 Golf. It'll start from £16,330 on-the-road - and the good news is, that's cheaper than the outgoing Mk6 Golf which today kicks off at £16,425. CAR's been saying for some years that the new MQB architecture underpinning the new VW Golf, and indeed the rest of the VW Group's mid-sized cars from Seats to Skodas, would be cheaper to produce.

Dacia's UK launch postponed

It had planned to launch the cheap 'n' cheerful badge in the UK in February 2009, but that's now gone back a year, the company announced today. CAR was due to drive the Sandero – the UK launch model – in July 2008, but PRs today took the unusual step of ringing the media to cancel the event.

Corvette Stingray-based Callaway AeroWagon gets the green light

We first saw renderings of the Callaway AeroWagon, an angular shooting brake based off the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, back in March. Back then, Callaway said it would produce the customized C7 if demand was sufficient. Apparently, the Connecticut-based tuner decided that demand was, indeed, sufficient.
