A/C Compressors: Replacement A/C Compressors are subject to failure if the system is not evacuated and flushed and new Accumulator Drier, Orifice Tube, and Seals installed. In order for us to warranty a Compressor purchased from us, we must receive proof that these other components were replaced and the system was properly flushed. We do offer everything you need to do a complete A/C job, but if you choose to purchase those items from another source we would simply need a copy of your invoice for the parts in order to warranty the Compressor. Once we have received your return we will conduct a full inspection of the part to verify that it meets the above guidelines. After we've completed our inspection, a prompt refund will be issued including any applicable sales tax. 2012 Hyundai Veloster recalled for sunroof assembly

Hyundai is recalling 2012 Veloster hatchbacks built between Nov. 1, 2011 and April 17, 2012. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the panoramic sunroof assembly may have been weakened during installation at the factory.

Daimler takes 10 percent stake in EV maker Tesla

Daimler AG has acquired an equity stake of nearly 10 percent of California electric car maker Tesla Motors Inc., the German automaker said Tuesday. The two companies have been working together to integrate Tesla's lithium-ion battery packs and charging electronics into the first 1,000 units of Daimler's electric Smart car. Daimler said its stake in Tesla will allow the companies to collaborate even more closely on the development of battery systems, electric drive systems and in individual vehicle projects.

Nissan electric car Leaf starts retailing next year in five markets

Just days after pulling the wraps off of its prototype Leaf electric vehicle in Japan, Nissan Motor Co. says it has committed to an early launch of 5,000 sales in the United States, starting late next year. The plan will require Nissan North America to begin retailing the Leaf at U.S.
