More light and improved visibility can help drivers identify and react to traffic hazards more quickly. Break with convention. Enter a new dimension. OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER LASER are the ideal bulbs for drivers who want to experience a powerful white headlight beam and see the difference that this makes on dark country roads or on streets where a longer beam is beneficial Every OSRAM halogen lamp is designed with one aim in mind – reducing the stress of driving in low light as much as possible. We’re proud of our new generation of halogen lamps: NIGHT BREAKER LASER, whose technical specifications speak for themselves. More light: up to 130 % more light on the road* OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER LASER shines up to 130% more light on the road compared to standard OSRAM Original Equipment halogen bulbs. The benefits are especially noticeable in the all-important 75 to 100 m range in front of the car. The centre of the beam is particularly bright and powerful. Due to the longer beam then obstacles or hazards can be seen earlier helping drivers to respond to any dangers on the road ahead earlier. More visibility: up to 40 m longer light beam* With an up to 40 m longer light beam, squinting into the dark, nose pressed up against the windscreen and hunched over the steering wheel might fade into a bad memory. Bright headlamps could make the difference between arriving at your destination frazzled or on top of your game. More contrast: up to 20 % whiter light* NIGHT BREAKER LASER car lamps provide up to a 20 % whiter light that casts traffic signs and other objects in a more natural colour. Improved contrast can reduce driver fatigue and may result in a more relaxed driving experience. And: The blue-white light is a perfect eye-catcher. Rennsport Reunion IV closes with Porsche 917s tearing around the track
Sun, 16 Oct 2011Rennsport IV, three days of serious Porsche love at Mazda Racway Laguna Seca, concluded on Sunday with a half-dozen races around the picturesque track near Monterey, Calif. And while there were a variety of all things Porsche to see and hear through the three days, Sunday saw some of Porsche's most powerful race cars take to the track. It was certainly a case of saving the best for last.
Honda CR-Z Hybrid (2010/2011) Leaks
Wed, 09 Dec 2009Picture of the leaked Honda CR-Z Hybrid brochure We saw the Honda CR-Z Hybrid at the Tokyo Motor Show a few months ago as what Honda called a concept. But it was clear that this new Hybrid Coupe from Honda was anything but a concept and was in fact a virtually production-ready car. So it’s no surprise to see a leaked picture of the Honda CR-Z brochure coming out of Japan.
New Mercedes CLA photos & new Mercedes 4MATIC 4WD – UPDATED
Thu, 13 Dec 2012We have the first official photos of the new Mercedes CLA and news of a new Mercedes 4MATIC 4WD system for Mercedes’ smaller cars. The new Mercedes CLA – the baby CLS based on the new A Class and previewed by the Mercedes Concept Style Coupe we saw at the Beijing Motor Show - will arrive at the Detroit Auto Show in January (and be followed by the CLA 45 AMG at Frankfurt in Autumn 2013), and will come with a new Mercedes 4MATIC four wheel drive system. To herald the arrival of the new CLA and the new 4MATIC system, Mercedes has released details of the new 4MATIC system and sent us the first official photos of the production CLA – albeit with the usual swirly black and white camouflage – to illustrate where their new 4WD system will arrive.
