For sale is a used OTC Vision Premier Engine Analyzer with a Dell Latitude Laptop Computer  We bought the unit new in 1997 and have had all the updates done thru 2002.  In 2002 we bought a new engine analyzer and this was used as a second unit since then.  We are in the process of getting another analyzer and have no need for three units so this one is being sold.

Up through 2002 this unit has all the manufactures data all ready entered; to start you just pick the year, brand and engine size.  All the parameters are entered automatically ( firing order, spark plug burn times, cranking amps, ect.).  After 2002 you have to enter what kind of ignition system is present and the firing order manually.  !!!!  THIS UNIT DOES NOT WORK ON COIL ON PLUG IGNITION SYSTEMS !!!!!!!!!  An adapter is available for this feature but we never bought it ( it came with the unit that replaced this on).   For more information on this unit go to:

    http://www2.otctools.com/otctools.com/newcatalog/products/02-05.pdf

For sale is only what is shown in the pictures and this unit does NOT have the gas analyzer installed.   The unit works this way; there is a communication cable between the laptop and "black box" that sits on the car or hangs from the hood.  Cables coming out of the "black box" connect to the engine as needed.  For distributorless ignition system ( waste spark )  there are only enough leads for 8 or less cylinders.  More leads are available if you do 10 cylinder work.

If you have any question send me an email and I will get back to you within a few hours depending how busy the shop is.

Hyundai Performance Brand by 2015

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

The next gen Hyundai i20 will be the first performance Hyundai One Hyundai had made the tricky transition from budget to credible, there were only two routes open for progress – luxury and performance. The luxury route still looks like it will happen in the UK, with the next generation Hyundai Genesis Coupe heading our way, but we can also look forward to some proper performance cars from Hyundai too. That has been confirmed by Hyundai’s WRC boss, Michel Nandan, who told Australia’s Drive that all the money Hyundai is spending on Motorsport – including a new testing facility at the Nurburgring – is not just for the glow it will cast on Hyundai’s everyday cars, but for a new performance brand too.

Porsche 918 Spyder – the new Porsche Carrera GT

Mon, 01 Mar 2010

Porsche has revealed the Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid Hypercar We have to confess, we didn’t actually see this coming, the Porsche 918 Spyder. And even if we had I don’t think we’d have guessed it would be a hybrid hypercar. Perhaps it’s a first – a hybrid hypercar.
