OVERHAUL (4) CONTINENTAL, LYCOMING OR AFTER MARKET CYLINDERS . CYLINDERS MUST BE CRACK FREE AND THE BORE AND PARTS MUST MEET MFR'S.SPECIFICATIONS FOR RETURN TO SERVICE. 

THE CYLINDERS ARE CLEANED AND INSPECTED AND THE CUSTOMER IS THEN NOTIFIED OF REPAIRS NEEDED.THE VALVE GUIDES ARE REPLACED AS NEEDED.VALVE SEATS ARE REFACED, THE CYLINDER BORE IS RING FINISHED,VALVES ARE LAPPED AND THE CYLINDER IS VACUUM CHECKED FOR LEAKS.THE CYLINDER IS THEN PAINTED. A SERVICEABLE  YELLOW TAG IS FURNISHED.

NOTE* THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY PARTS NEEDED FOR REPAIR OR ADDITIONAL WORK NOT LISTED.            A CLEAN/INSPECT FEE WILL APPLY FOR ANY CYLINDER THAT DOES MEET THE ABOVE CRITERIA AND IF RETURNED TO CUSTOMER A RETURN FREIGHT FEE WILL BE CHARGED.

Hyundai ix35 – UK details

The Hyundai ix35 will launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show But now we have more Euro details from Hyundai on the ix35 which will officially launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. The new ix35 is longer and wider than the outgoing Tucson but is actually 20mm lower, although headroom is unaffected. As we already know, the ix35 is a pretty close call for the ix-onic concept we saw at Geneva, and features Hyundai’s new hexagonal grill.

Aston Martin Virage dropped – to be replaced by new DB9

Less than eighteen months since it debuted – and after just over 1,000 cars – Aston Martin is dropping the Virage. The Aston Martin Virage always seemed a bit of a stretch too far for Aston Martin, and so it has proved. After a lifespan of no more than eighteen months – and with just over 1000 cars built – Aston Martin has decided that there are just too few buyers who feel the Virage is enough of a step up from the DB9 to warrant the extra cost.

'Bin the booster', says car seat maker

A CAR CHILD seat manufacturer is urging parents to bin booster seats amid claims of ‘dangers’ involved in using them for older kids. Britax, which manufactures child seats for youngsters up to 135cm tall, or about 12 years old, claims that its own research suggests 49% of seating setups for 4-12-year-olds could be unsafe. Some form of child seat is legally required until a child reaches 135cm in height, to ensure that the seat belt crosses their chest at the correct and safe height, but Britax claims to have found many belts to have been fitted incorrectly.
