Alfa Romeo 4C concept
Tue, 08 Mar 2011Following the limited production run of the 8C super car, Alfa Romeo unveiled its new sports car at the Geneva motor show – the 4C. The compact, lightweight and mid-engined sports car is a departure from anything Alfa Romeo is producing at the moment. Taking influence from the 8C's strongest attributes, it also mixes in a new design language for the Italian brand.
New Nissan Terrano is a rebadged Dacia Duster
Tue, 11 Jun 2013The new Nissan Terrano (pictured) is a rebadged Dacia Duster The Dacia Duster SUV has been taking Europe by storm for several years with its combination of cheapness, ruggedness and a surprising ability to do its job. In tough economic times budget buys are a big seller, and with the Dacia Duster SUV costing from just £8995 (although you’ll need to pay more for a 4WD version) Dacia have been able to sell as many as they can build. That meant the UK and Ireland having to wait for the Duster to arrive until capacity could be found in India to build RHD versions, and now it seems Nissan are about to utilise its production facilities in Chennai to turn out a new Nissan Terrano that is actually a rebadged Dacia Duster.
Top Gear: Clarkson, Hammond & May sign for another 3 years
Fri, 28 Sep 2012It’s been revealed that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have signed up for another 3 years of Top Gear. There may not be a new series of Top Gear on its way until 2013, but we now know that Top Gear as we know it – with Jeremy, Richard and James – is safe for another three years after the trio signed a new deal with the BBC, tying them in to Top Gear until 2016. So, despite the naysayers claiming Top Gear has had its day and will end soon, we can guarantee another three years of the nation’s (and the world’s) favourite car entertainment programme.
