CDN/GM-PATAC competition deadline extended

We're now three months into the CDN-GM/PATAC Interactive Design Competition China, and here at CDN we're excited to see some many strong entries coming in. Because there has been such a flurry of quality entries leading up to the first round deadline, we're happy to announce that the deadlines have been adjusted to allow for more students to compete for two internships with GM in China. All entries must now be received by March 1, 2013 in order to qualify for judging.

More drivers opt for speed awareness course

Drivers caught speeding are now more likely to take a driver education course than accept points on their licence, according to the latest government statistics. 953,428 motorists took a speed awareness course last year – a hefty increase over the 500,000 that took part in 2010. 2015 Smart ForTwo and Smart ForFour teased in new video

The new Smart ForTwo and Smart ForFour (pictured) teased The new Renault Twingo has already been revealed, but the new Smart, which shares the majority of components, isn’t due to debut until the Paris Motor Show in October. But October isn’t that far away now, so Smart had released a teaser video for both the new Smart ForTwo and For Four as they build interest for the debut. The video was shot in Sweden where Smart are running camouflaged prototypes on test ahead of the launch, and the video allows the first look of the new Smarts on the move.
