New Mercedes A Class advert with no mention of Mercedes – or A Class
Sun, 27 May 2012Mercedes-Benz are launching an advert campaign for the new Mercedes A Class that features just an image and the hashtag – #NewGeneration. Traditional advertising dictates that you need to get your brand front and centre and end with strapline that states what’s on offer. But Mercedes are going a different route with the New A Class.
Could the McLaren P13 get a Honda engine?
Wed, 22 May 2013The McLaren P13 is due to arrive in 2015 and we’re expecting it to get a de-tuned version of the 3.8 litre V8 already found in the 12C (pictured above) and P1, and be priced to take on the almost empty sector (in terms of price) the Porsche 911 Turbo occupies - somewhere around £125k. It’s a sensible plan to fill a potentially lucrative sector of the supercar market with a mid-engined, rear wheel drive ‘baby’ supercar with performance of around 3.8 seconds to 60mph and stunning handling. It should give the 911 Turbo a run for its money.
Ram 2500 HD gets six-speed transmission
Fri, 24 Jun 2011Chrysler's Ram truck brand announced today that it is adding a six-speed automatic transmission to its 2012 2500 Heavy Duty trucks. The Ram 2500 HD and 3500 HD will be available with diesel and gasoline engines. The six-speed transmission replaces the five-speed 545RFE transmission in the 2500 HD, the automaker said in a statement.
