Wed, 23 Nov 2011

MG6 gets 4 stars in Euro NCAP tests Just a year ago Geely was making all the wrong headlines when the Geely CK1 scored zero in the Latin NCAP tests. But now, just a year later, the Geely Emgrand EC7 and the MG6 – both made in China – have scored four starts in the last set of Euro NCAP tests for 2011. Apart from being a great result for China, it’s proof – if proof were ever needed – that the Chinese car industry is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

With a choice of two diesel engines – 140 hp and 170 hp versions of the 2.0 litre diesel – a choice of four trim levels - Longitude, Longitude+, Limited and Trailhawk – and a 3.2 litre petrol engine for the hardcore Trailhawk version (available from the end of 2014), Jeep has a strong offering.

GM says natural-gas Chevrolet Impala on the way

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

The dual-fuel Impala, to be announced today by CEO Dan Akerson at a conference here, will have one engine and two fuel tanks -- one for gasoline and one for compressed natural gas.
