Which is all fine and dandy if you’re just cruising round town at low speeds and you’ve got hats on, otherwise the expensive coiffures of your passengers may well get wrecked by the buffeting once the roof is down as you blat along, leaving them looking as if they’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards. And now we get – although not officially from BMW yet – the M Sport Package for the latest X3. The M Sport Package does butch the X3 up a fair bit with new bumpers, body-coloured aprons front and back together with new skirts and wheel arches.

Only this pair of shadowy teaser photographs has been issued ahead of the new Sorento’s debut in Korea at the end of August. But this is a global car and will be shown at the 2014 Paris motor show too in October, ahead of UK sales in spring 2015.
