- Throttle the average car down to five miles an hour and step on it", do the same thing with a Single Six and note the difference
- To Summarize:
- 1. The Fuelizer permits of running on leaner mixtures, thus giving as much as five miles more to the gallon than other cars with similar performance.
- 2. It gives important advantages in acceleration, allowing instant pick-up in high gear from a walking pace, and eliminating a considerable amount of gear shifting.
- 3. It cuts down the "warming-up" period to a fraction of what other cars require.
- 4. It greatly diminishes crankcase dilution with kerosene, and, consequently, contributes to better lubrication.

Wed, 04 Dec 2013THE latest AA/Populus survey released to coincide with the Government’s Autumn Statement tells us something we probably already know: high fuel prices are continuing to force drivers to use their cars less. As part of its poll of 21,587 AA members, the organisation found that 45% are cutting down on car usage and 28% are slashing family or personal budgets to compensate. Semi or unskilled workers and pensioners are cutting back most on motoring, with 53% using their cars less.

LA Motor Show: New Subaru WRX gets downsized engine
Fri, 22 Nov 2013SUBARU has revealed a production-ready version of the WRX concept first seen earlier this year. The latest edition of the performance saloon may not be coming to the UK at all, but Subaru has finally given the 268bhp machine the go-ahead for Japan and North America. A new 2.0-litre ‘boxer’ engine carries on the brand’s tradition, bringing with it the same low centre of gravity as the old 2.5-litre unit but with greater environmental credentials.
