PACKARD DISC BRAKE CONVERSION ASSEMBLY

Disc Brake conversion  assembly  for easamatic  equipped   Packards  from 1951 thru 56.  Steering knuckle, pivot bushings,  kingpins  and  vertical support arm are new or original Packard parts.  To install remove original brake drum support arms from upper and lower support mountings and replace with conversation assembly.   Conversion disk support arms are identical to drum support  arms ( original Packard parts)  making installation easy.  New brake line hoses are included.  To function,  remove  check valve from  inside “bottom” of  brake fluid reservoir.

No warranty- sold as is.  Shipping  weight  95 pounds -  shipping cost to be determined  by shipper.

Mitsubishi hit our radar on Tuesday for the first time in a long time. The 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander crossover will be the official safety vehicle for the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 30. The Outlander will join two Mitsubishi race cars as they attack the 12.4-mile course.

The XFR is Jaguar’s answer to the barn-storming saloons from Mercedes, BMW and Audi, and if looks and spec (and the experience of driving the non-blown XF) are anything to go by, the new big Cat should get the cream. The XFR gets the new version of Jaguar’s AJV8 engine, which is a 5.0 litre supercharged lump, producing a whopping 510bhp, with the usual limited top speed of 155mph, and a 0-60 of around 4.5 seconds. Mercury rolls into history with build of final Grand Marquis

The last Mercury--a Grand Marquis--rolled off the production line Tuesday at Ford Motor Co.'s assembly plant in St. Thomas, Ontario, marking the official end of another Detroit brand. The sedan will be shipped as part of a fleet order, Ford spokeswoman Marcey Evans said.
