Car Design News launches global user survey

We've carried out CDN user surveys before, but this is the first one structured so that we can assess the needs of the different parts of the design community - by discipline, by region, by background, by price point, and more. Take a moment to give us feedback on what you like, what you don't and what you think we're missing. Pininfarina didn't show a new car at this year's Geneva Motor Show, but there was a surprise new model on the Tata stand adorned with the famed Carrozzeria's signature. Called the Tata Prima (meaning 'first' in Italian), the luxury sedan concept is the first official project of the Tata-Pininfarina cooperation. Based on the platform of the Tata Indigo - the first Indian sedan - the Prima is an indication of how future Tata sedans could look.

Vauxhall Corsa gets a 2010 eco facelift

The new 2010 model year Vauxhall Corsa has been nipped and tucked, tweaked and polished to produce an impressive average 13% fuel saving across the range.Five out of the six Corsa engines now produce less than 125g/km and the 2010 Corsa Ecoflex diesel now manages up to 76.3mpg (on the Government's not-especially-representative combined figures).How have they made the Corsas so much cleaner?Just good old-fashioned engine tuning, apparently.
