Honda Fit EV cars being tested by Google, Stanford and California city
Tue, 14 Feb 2012Honda dropped off a fleet of 2013 Fit EVs last week to Google, Stanford University and the City of Torrance, Calif., as part of the Honda Electric Vehicle Demonstration Program. All of the participants will conduct tests and log feedback for the company. “The goal of the Honda Electric Vehicle Demonstration Program is to better understand the challenges and opportunities associated with the advancement in battery-electric technology,” said Steve Center, vice president of the environmental business development office at American Honda.

New System Needed To Highlight Risks Of Prescription Drugs, Says IAM
Tue, 15 Oct 2013THE Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) has raised the issue of prescription drug labeling, after finding that many drivers believe the product information could be more comprehensive. In a survey based on 2,376 responses, only half of drivers asked felt prescription drug labelling is clear enough on medicines. This exercise comes after the government announced earlier this year that a drug-driving bill will be introduced, and will include chemicals which can be found in prescription drugs.
