For a not insignificant £16,500 (thankfully including VAT) Nicholas Mee will give you a fully functioning, petrol-powered toy Aston Martin Db Convertible with composite coachwork, leather or vinyl upholstery, a wood-rimmed steering wheel and hydraulic disc brakes. The Db Juniot measure 2500mm long and is 1030mm wide and gets its power from a 110cc four-stroke engine, complete with electric start, which can get the DB Junior to 46mph (although you can restrict it) and comes with proper grown-up car stuff like Brembo disc brakes, 3-speed semi-auto ‘box, indicators and lights.

Tue, 01 May 2012The replacement for the Aston Martin DBS (right) will look much like the One-77 (left) at the back The revised Aston Martin DBS – due to arrive later in 2012 – will take many styling cues from the One-77 and get a new name. Aston Martin are busy working on an updated DBS (which is why we’re about to get the DBS Ultimate Edition) and are aiming for a reveal by the Paris Motor Show in September. But this isn’t going to be just a facelift for the DBS.
MINI Countryman goes WRC
Tue, 27 Jul 2010MINI Countryman WRC - MINI are going rallying again Back when Adam was a lad (as was I, coincidentally) Mini were big in rallying. In fact they wiped the floor with just about everyone else in the ’60s, winning the Monte Carlo Rally three times in the decade. And now BMW are planning a proper foray back in to WRC with a MINI Countryman WRC prepared in conjunction with Prodrive and featuring a 1.6 litre turbo from BMW Motorsport and AWD.
