Nearly 30,000 spectators came to the two-day event in 1957, and race organizers were expecting even more in 1958.

We'll spoil the show for you: the odds of a company other than General Motors winning the bid is pretty slim.
Mercedes confirms electric AMG SLS

The eco SLS will have an electric motor powering each wheel, producing a total of 526bhp. Needless to say, for now it remains an engineering prototype – but a spokeswoman told CAR that Mercedes was intent on putting it into production.
