Here's a good solid pair of complete headlamps. I have not been able to test the sealed beams but they appear Ok. Don't know what make they came from but the guy I purchased them from is into old Fords.. The only name I can find on anything is DO - RAY on the signal lenses. The signal lenses do have some chips out of them, and one of the headlight rings seems to be missing its locking screw on the bottom. Only minimal rust on the buckets, look to have been stored somewhere dry for a long time as they were very dusty when I found them The original paint color looks to be a dark maroon under a rather nasty brush paint job. Looks bad but it protected them! The mounting bolt moves freely and the nuts are included. I have not attempted to take them apart. The trim rings are good. Please look carefully at ALL the photos as they describe the condition best. Just te thing for a Rod or good for restoration of your toy. To be honest, we were surprised they didn’t go with the Speedster name (we reported back in Spetember with pictures of a Porsche Boxster with Speedster humps testing at the Nurburgring), but perhaps that was a step too far; using the Speedster tag on a lowly Boxster. But no matter, the Porsche Boxster Spyder it is with the flat six 3.4 litre engine with 310bhp and a 0-60mph of 4.6 seconds when you tick the PDK Sport Chrono Plus option.

Autocar are reading a comment by BMW’s head of R&D, Albert Biermann, that “…there will be some all-wheel-drive surprises on M cars in the future.” as evidence that BMW are going to do the almost unthinkable and offer 4WD as an option on the 2012 BMW M5.
