Chevrolet Pickup Corner Windows

OEM Original L-O-F Safety Glass, Used

From Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Company

Here's a pair of left and right, original, L-O-F safety glass back corner windows for a 5-window Chevy pickup truck. They are not tinted. They are not mint by any stretch, but they are extremely nice for their age. There is a scratch here and there, but no DA marks like you see so many times. I took these off of a truck about 30 years ago, and they were packed away and forgotten until I recently found them. Hopefully somebody can use these real nice glasses. If you're looking for mint, buy new ones. I'm throwing in the packet of gloss lock strip for free. I think it is for the center glass, but it was packed away with the corner glasses, so I'm including it. I don't think there's enough to do both corner glasses, but hopefully you can use it. Be sure and check the photos for condition and appearance, and email if you have questions. Please check out my other auctions where I have more great vintage items.

All items are sold with no returns, so if you have questions not answered by the photos, please email.

New ‘flash-for-cash’ insurance scam warning

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

Newspress Motorists are being warned about the rise of a new type of ‘crash-for-cash’ insurance scam dubbed ‘flash-for-cash’, which involves criminals flashing their headlights to let innocent victims out of side roads, then driving straight into them. Flash-for-cash incidents are said to be costing the UK car insurance industry £392 million a year – which means the scam is adding as much as £50-£100 to every ordinary driver’s insurance policy. Car insurance – scams and mythsMassive car insurance fraudsCompare car insurance As with better-known cash-for-crash schemes, where a criminal deliberately brakes their car for no reason so the person behind crashes into them, the major problem with tackling this kind of crime is that it’s difficult to prove.

Nissan Terra SUV concept (2012) first official pictures

Wed, 12 Sep 2012

This is the Nissan TeRRA (which we'll be referring to as the Terra from now on.) It's a hydrogen fuel cell-powered concept car that'll debut on Nissan's stand at the 2012 Paris motor show from 27 September. Strictly a design study with no plans for production, it does nevertheless confirm that Nissan is thinking seriously about fuel cell-equipped cars, and that once the infrastructure is viable, Nissans will be quick to adapt to a hydrogen-fuelled future. It's not Leaf-style EVs, you know.
